Six Months and Still Going Strong!
It’s been six months since we launched the Black Golf Directory. . . Only six months. . . feels more like six years! We have received so much great feedback and, in that time, we’ve been able to accomplish a lot! Let’s see, we have . . .
Launched the website and designed a t-shirt in January
February – started our weekly promotion of black golf professionals, businesses, and organizations on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
In May, we launched the high school listing and Podcast
Over 1,000 followers on social media to date!
So, what’s next. . .Where do we go from here? Well here’s the plan for the rest of 2020. . .
Continue promoting the Black golf community regularly on all social media outlets
Start Season 2 of the Podcast, and share them with our community via our golf professionals, amateur, and junior organizations
Continuing growing our high school listing and sharing with college coaches on a monthly basis
Build a job connection feature to get access to prestigious golf jobs for our golf professionals
Now more than ever, do we need to use our platform to help others see how great our golf community is and create opportunities for existing professionals, while empowering the next generation to be a part of our small, but mighty family.
